Living in Oregon affords us a variety of eco systems to satisfy all tastes. Just recently we took a trip high up into the Cascade Mountain range, well over 5000 feet. Where the snow glistens and the drivers wear chains ( or don't as you can see in the pictures) During heavy snowfall chains are required on all vehicles, for very good reason. The Snow becomes hard packed and is like a sheet of ice. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
