Located in central Oregon, Newbury National Volcanic Monument encompases 50.000 acers of forests, Lakes and lava flows. Newbury Volcano rises about 3,600 feet above the surrounding area and covers approximently 500 square miles. The Volcano is dormant but another eruption is expected within the next 200 years.
