Got the pic, looks good. Thank you. I suppose the man-made bridge
doesn't qualify as a disturbance? Gg, just yanking your chain. And yet
man, with his pervasive presence, has caused ripple effects in wild places
all over the globe. Even in the Arctic, sitting on an iceberg, you can
see trails of jet exhaust overhead, and sometimes fuel slicks in the
water. If a wild place is technically undisturbed within its boundaries,
it is still affected by human-altered areas elsewhere that interact with
the living things within those boundaries. Also, many wildlife species
are not confined to a region just because of lines on a map. These
species' lifestyle is altered by the altered conditions they encounter
outside of their wild, home habitat. Just some food for thought, picked
up by the side of the road. I'm just looking to raise awareness.

Thanks Joe for sharing that good information, always learning something
new from you. I guess it’s about as undisturbed as you are going to get in
Oregon. :-) But you bring to light some very valid points tha is good to be reminded of.
