Our Savior was Born

"For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord." "for He will save His people from their sins."

Before Christ was born we were powerless to overcome our sinful tendencies. Now we have the opportunity to be set free not only from the stain of original sin that came down from Adam and Eve's transgression, but we have received the power to live a holy and blameless life before God so we no longer have to continue in sin and we can by God's grace become pleasing to Him in all things.

"Behold I make all things new". He gave His life as a ransom for many and hence has restored our relationship with the father in heaven, now it is our responsibility to be obedient to His commandments and take up our cross as He did and follow Him.

For he cares for you and longs to make intercession for you, he sees our need(s) and pleads to the father on our behalf. What a Savior we have that chose to love us first while we were still sinners and give His very life for us. "For no greater love has this then to lay one's life down" If we draw near to Him he has promised to draw near to us and dwell within us.

My testimony is I will be faithful all the days of my life to my Lord and Savior.
