What: Our Second annual backpacking trip featuring wilderness scenery, mountain lake fishing. Total trip is estimated 11 miles.

Where: Duffy Lake Trail to Duffy Lake and Mowich Lake, Mt Jefferson Wilderness, Oregon

We had a great time backpacking into two remote wilderness lakes. We all caught fish and cooked them over the fire, there’s nothing quite like eating native caught trout. This place is very popular with hikers and especially this time of year hunters. We saw many deer hunters with there horses and mules all loaded up for the kill. Great fun to be able to bring my boys to such a beautiful place. Kids don’t need much to make them happy. Take them hiking or fishing and make them feel special, because they are. 🙂
